Conceptual Sketches

Three concepts: Elevations of a cozy log cabin (left), a traditional looking library using modern materials (right), and a subdivision entrance to a mountain retreat (bottom left).

This high-rise idea started by taking a simple shape, a circle, and breaking it in two and offsetting the pieces to create an interesting addition to any skyline.

Various ideas for a grand entry (top left), community subdivision entrance (bottom left), and a cozy family gathering room (bottom right).

I pass a lot of time thinking on paper, coming up with designs for event centers (bottom right), museum entrances (bottom left), and the like.

These sketches were a great way to visualize and communicate the design of Sunrise Peaks to my instructor. Also includes an elevation of a music staff-inspired performing arts center.

Abstract Design

Mixtures of shapes and colors provoke abstract emotions and interpretations.
